David L. Stradtman
David L. Stradtman, 61, of Kewaskum, passed away at his home on Saturday, Dec. 10, 2005 surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on Jan. 14, 1944 in Beaver Dam, the son of the late Rev. Clar-ence and Laura (Luther) Strad-tman, and on April 26, 1967, he was united in marriage to Irene Paris in Burlington with Davidís father presiding.
David was an industrial arts teacher for 32 years. He taught for 30 years at Kewaskum High School and also taught night classes for Moraine Park Tech-nical College for 27 years.
He served his country in the Marine Corps Reserve and was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in New Fane and the village of Kewaskum Library Board.
David was a loving husband, a devoted, proud father, a dedicated teacher and a good friend to many.
He will fondly be remembered for his love of people, his wonderful sense of humor and his exceptional woodworking skills.
David will be deeply missed by his wife of 38 years, Irene; his children, Noel Stradtman of Kewaskum and Tisha Stradtman of Milwaukee; his brothers and sisters, Ron Stradtman (special friend, Shirley Ricker) of Greeneville, Tenn., John (Barb) Stradtman of Chippewa Falls, Lois McGee of Austin, Texas and Eunice (Fred) Stopple of Elkhorn; his parents-in-law, Gust and Joan Paris of Oceanside, Calif.; two brothers-in-law, Nick (Cathy) Paris and Bob (Cheryl) Paris, both of Concord, Calif.; nieces; nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 15, at St. John Lutheran Church in New Fane.
Rev. Mark Eckert will officiate, and burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Relatives and friends may call at the Miller Funeral Home, Kewaskum, from 3:30 until 8 p.m. on Wednesday, and at the church on Thursday from noon until the time of services.
