Jeffery J. Britsch
Jeffery J. Britsch, 47, of West Bend, passed away Friday, Dec. 9, 2005 at his home.
He was born on July 13, 1958 in Norfolk, Va. to Dietrich and Hanna (nee Barkemeyer) Britsch.
The family moved to Ocon-omowoc and Jeff graduated from Ocono-mowoc High School in 1976.
He then at-tended the University of Wiscon-sin-Milwaukee and graduated with a degree in architecture.
On Aug. 18, 1984 he was united in marriage to Suzanne Atkinson at Grace Lutheran Church in Milwaukee. They resided in Wauwatosa until moving to West Bend in 1994.
At the time of his death, Jeff was a sales representative for Super Sky Products Inc. in Mequon.
Jeff was an active member of Zion Ev. Lutheran Church in the town of Wayne where he was a member of the church council and a former Pioneer leader.
The love of his family, his devotion to church and dedication to his job made Jeff’s life satisfying for him.
Survivors include his wife, Sue; three sons, Jakin, Luke and Paul, all at home; his mother, Hanna Britsch of Oconomowoc; a brother, Greg (Brooke) Britsch of Brown Deer; his parents-in-law, William and Donna Atkinson of Janesville; two sisters-in-law, Julie (Steve) Betz of Kankakee, Ill. and Beth Krebs of Clinton; four brothers-in-law, Dan (Barb) Atkinson of Luxemburg, Rob (Carol) Atkinson, Alan (Connie) Atkinson and David (Gaea) Atkinson, all of Janesville; other relatives and many friends.
His father, Dietrich, preceded him in death.
Funeral services to remember Jeff’s life will be held on Thursday, Dec. 15 at 7 p.m. at Zion Ev. Lutheran Church, town of Wayne.
Rev. Steve Bode will officiate, and burial will be Friday at 11 a.m. in Zion Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the church only on Thursday from 3 p.m. until the time of service at 7 p.m.
Memorials to Zion Sunday School Building Fund are appreciated.
