He was born Oct. 1, 1946 in Chicago, and was a U.S. Navy veteran who served on the U.S.S. Coral Sea.

Bob worked for Sprint/Centel for 28 years. He was also active in many ministries at St. Paul Lutheran Church.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret "Marge/Peg" (nee Arkell); children, Donna (Darren) Sikorski, Dawn (Bill) McKee and David (Tina) Kleinke; grandchildren, David, Dakota, Destiny, Sean and Shannon and his mother, Virginia Kleinke.

Preceding him in death were his father, Alpheus Kleinke and a brother, Richard (Kim) Kleinke.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, Nov. 4 at noon at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 100 S. School St., Mt. Prospect, with burial in St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery.

Visitation will be Thursday from 3 to 9 p.m. at the Friedrichs Funeral Home, 320 W. Central Road at Northwest Highway, Mt. Prospect.
