Frank H. Frank, 94, of Cedar Community in West Bend, was welcomed home by his Lord on Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2005 at Cedar Lake Health Care Center.
Frank was born Aug. 30, 1911 to Maximillian and Anna (nee Deuster) Frank in Milwaukee, where he was also raised. About the time he graduated, Frank began working.
He then married Ethel Schroeder and the couple began raising a family of their own.
Frank served his country in the Navy during World War II on the USS Idaho.
After returning home, he was a dedicated employee of Wisconsin Gas Co., retiring in 1973.
Ethel passed away in 1977.
On June 12, 1979, he married Evelyn Spitz (nee Tilkens). The couple moved to the Cedarburg area after marriage, and retired to Cedar Ridge in 1993.
Frank was a lifetime member of the Gross-Yaksh VFW Post 6498.
Frank will be missed by his loving wife, Evelyn; his daughter, Charlotte Hamilton of California; his grandson, Kevin Hamilton and his wife, Julie, of Kansas; his great-grandchildren, Kaitlin and Caleb Hamilton; his step-daughter, Diane Callen and her husband, Michael, of Cedarburg; their children, Todd Callen and his wife, Shereen, of Port Washington and Ryan Callen of Grafton; and his step-great-grandson, Ty Callen.
He will also be missed by nieces, nephews, other special relatives and many dear friends.
Frank is preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, a sister and his first wife, Ethel.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, Nov. 5, at 11 a.m. at St. Frances Cabrini Church, 1025 S. Seventh Ave., West Bend, with Father Haines officiating.
Visitation with family and friends will be held on Saturday, at the church only from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass at 11 a.m.
A private entombment will take place at Wisconsin Memorial Park of Brookfield.
The Phillip Funeral Home of West Bend is assisting the family.
