Arthur G. "Art" Wolf

Arthur G. "Art" Wolf of West Bend was taken home by his Lord on Thursday, Oct. 27, 2005 at Cedar Lake Health Care Center, at the age of 63 years.

Art was born Nov. 17, 1941 to Herbert and Luciana (nee Simon) Wolf in West Bend, where he was also raised.

He was a graduate of West Bend High School with the Class of 1960.

Art honorably served his country with the United States Army during the Vietnam Era.

He married the love of his life and his best friend, Jo Ann E. (Langenecker) on Oct. 22, 1966 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church. After marriage, the couple resided in West Bend, where they raised a family of their own.

He was a dedicated employee of the West Bend Company for over 19 years, retiring in 1986. Art was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church and the Lt. Ray Dickop Post #36 American Legion of West Bend. Among his favorite pastimes, he loved to play cards, work in the yard, and he was an avid Green Bay Packer fan. Far above the rest, spending quality time laughing with and enjoying his grandchildren and family was most important to Art.

The love and adoration of Art will forever hold strong in the hearts of his beloved wife and best friend of 39 years, Jo Ann E. (nee Langenecker) Wolf of West Bend; his cherished children, Christine (William) Flasch of St. Kilian, Michael (Gina) Wolf of Waukegan, Ill., and Daniel (Kristine) Wolf of West Bend; and treasured grandchildren, Kyle, Anastasia, and Chad Flasch and Derrick Wolf. Art will also be deeply missed by his siblings, Marvin (Evelyn) Wolf of West Bend, Harold (Mary Manning) Wolf of Madison, Simon (Clara) Wolf of Lomira, and Herbert and (Jenny) Wolf of West Bend; and on Jo Annís side: Mary (Alan) Bogenschneider of Mayville, Charles (Darlene) Langenecker of Hartford, Kay Walbrink of Chicago, and Ruth (Jim) Bowden of Bartlett, Tenn.; nieces, nephews, other special relatives and many dear friends. Art is preceded in death by his parents, his sister and brother-in-law, Adeline (Ken) Lemke, and his parents-in-law, Norbert (Anita) Langenecker.
