Loretta R. Kramer
Loretta R. Kramer, of Hartford, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2005 at Aurora Medical Center. She was 93 years old.
She was born Jan. 13, 1912 in the town of Erin to Nicholas and Theresa (nee Hagen) Zehren.
She married Edward Kramer on Sept. 17, 1938 at St. Patrickís Catholic Church, Thompson.
Loretta was a woman of many talents.
She was a wonderful musician and artist. She was the organist for St. Patrickís Catholic Church from 1933 to 1937.
She was an incredible cook and baker, especially her molasses cookies.
You could never leave her home without a care package.
She was very special to all of her family.
She never had children, but treated her nieces and nephews like they were her own.
Loretta was a member of the Hartford Senior Friends, the Daughters of Isabella and a faithful member of St. Kilianís Catholic Church.
She is survived by two sisters, Clara Semler of Hartford and Frances (Joseph) Zurn of Hartford; one brother, Herbert (Dorothy) Zehren of Hartford; 26 nieces and nephews, other relatives and special friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Edward, on Dec. 29, 1957; two sisters, Eleanor Indermuehle and Agnes Beistle; two brothers, Lawrence and Alphonse Zehren; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
Mass of Christian Burial was Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2005 at St. Kilianís Catholic Church with Fr. Mike Petrie officiating.
Family greeted relatives and friends on Wednesday at the church.
Interment was in St. Kilianís Cemetery, Hartford.

Shimon Funeral Home in Hartford assisted the family.
