Harry A. Kuehl
Private funeral services were held on Nov. 5 at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca, for Harry A. Kuehl (formerly of Cedarburg), who died on Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2005 at the age of 82, at the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King. Burial took place at Calvary Cemetery in Virginia, Minn.
Harry was born on Dec. 2, 1922 in Milwaukee, son of Alvin and Adela Luedtke Kuehl. He grew up in Mayville and Cedarburg, and was a graduate of Cedarburg High School. During World War II, he served with the U.S. Navy as an aircraft maintenance mechanic. In 1945, he married Jean Moore of Mt. Iron, Minn., and they settled in Cedarburg. In 1972, Harry retired from his job as an industrial electrician and the couple moved to the Minocqua-Woodruff area.
Harry is survived by his daughter Claudia (Rick) Pastor; son Brian (Mary); and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Jean and his son David.
