Joseph P. Fell

Joseph P. Fell, 77, of Mequon died Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2005 at Lasata Care Center in Cedarburg.

He was born in the town of Ashford on Nov. 1, 1928, the son of John and Christina (Schrauf-nagel) Fell, and on June 15, 1955, married Ardell Westerman at St. Bridget’s Catholic Church in the town of Wayne.

Joe worked as a milk hauler for Walter Koehler, Bill Bauman and Jim Whitty, and then was an apartment manager for Timlin Apartments in Kewaskum.

He then worked at Slinger Manufacturing until retiring.

He was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Grafton and played drums in various bands, including Syl Volm and the Polka Dots.

Survivors include his wife, Ardell; his daughter, Carol (special friend Fred Heiden) Scholten of Thiensville; his brothers, Frank of Campbellsport and Jake (Jenny) of West Bend; his sisters, Angeline (Richard) Westerman of West Bend and Christine (James) Ruplinger of Campbellsport; his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Lorraine and Richard Boden, Lloyd and Rosalind Westerman, Sally Doll and Mary and Phillip Hahn; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his parents-in-law, Walter and Helen Westerman; a sister-in-law, Arlene Fell and a brother-in-law, Gerald Doll.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, Nov. 11 at 7 p.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Grafton.

Rev. Steve Lampe will officiate, and entombment will be Saturday in Ledgeview Memorial Park in Fond du Lac.

Visitation at the church will be on Friday from 3 p.m. until the time of services.

Memorials are appreciated to the Diabetes Foundation or Lasata Care Center.
