Patricia J. Bendix

A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. on Nov. 17 at St. Francis Borgia South Catholic Church in Cedarburg for Patricia J. Bendix of Grafton, who died on Sunday, Nov. 6, 2005 at Columbia St. Mary’s Hospital, at the age of 74. The family will receive friends at the church on Nov. 17, from 5 p.m. until the time of service. Inurnment will take place at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Cemetery in Cedarburg. Mueller Funeral Home in Cedarburg is assisting the family with arrangements.

Patricia was born in Milwaukee on Nov. 25, 1930 to the late Joseph and Bertha (nee Stordeur) Remillard. On May 2, 1953 she was united in marriage to Gene Bendix.

Patricia was a registered nurse at Heritage Nursing Home in Port Washington for over 20 years. She was past president of Port Washington Woman’s Club and treasurer of the Lasata Volunteer Organization. She was an avid golfer with the Hawthorne Honeys and enjoyed going on cruises, traveling and gambling.

Patricia is survived by her husband Gene; daughters Mary Jo Bendix of Minneapolis, Minn., and Judy L. (Jerry) Roeder of Brookfield; grandson Erich W. Roeder of Brookfield; and sister Phyllis Remillard of Stevens Point. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
