Jerald "Jerry" W. Bell
Funeral services were held on Nov. 11 at Advent Lutheran Church ELCA in Cedarburg for Jerald "Jerry" W. Bell, who was born to eternal life on Sunday, Nov. 6, 2005 at the age of 71. The Rev. Dr. Janis Kinens officiated the service and the burial took place at Zur Ruhe Cemetery in Cedarburg. Schramka-Densow Funeral Home in Thiensville assisted the family with arrangements.
Jerry was born in Milwaukee and grew up in the area of Richfield and Jackson. Throughout his life he loved spending time and having fun with his brothers and sisters and extended family. He served in the U.S. Army for two years during the Korean conflict. Jerry and his wife Laurie were married for 45 years. He was an active member at Advent Lutheran Church, serving in many capacities. He retired from the Wisconsin Gas Company in the mid 1990s as a systems analyst. He and Laurie traveled throughout the United States and to many countries. He loved watching the Packers and played a mean game of sheepshead. His gentle nature and wonderful sense of humor are remembered by all. He will be dearly missed.
Jerry was the beloved husband of Laurie (nee Hoffmann); dear dad of David (GeriAnn) Bell and Dana (John R. Buetzberger Jr.) Hoffmann; best grampa of Andrew and Jeremy Bell; loving brother of Donna Klumb, Tom Bell, John (Kathy) Bell, Bill (Carol) Bell and Dennis (Marlene) Bell; dear brother-in-law of Diane Bell, Rosa Chacon and Roy Herbener. He is further survived by other dear relatives and friends.
Jerry is preceded in death by his brothers Dick and Bob and his sister Kathy.
