F. Curtis C. Klostermann Jr.
F. Curtis C. Klostermann Jr., 65, of West Bend, was welcomed home by his Lord on Sunday, Oct. 2, 2005, surrounded by his loving family.
Curtis was born Oct. 1, 1940 to Frank and Pearl (nee Davis) Klostermann in Hustisford.
He was raised in the New Prospect area, and attended Campbellsport High School, graduating in 1958.
Curtis served in the United States Navy and later the United States Air Force for over 20 years.
He retired from the military on Oct. 31, 1978.
On June 12, 1988, Curtis married Susan L. "Susie" Adams in West Bend.
He was employed at various companies, including Mies Products of Barton and Wal-Mart of West Bend.
Curtis was a charter member of Still Waters Community United Methodist Church of Jackson, and was a past member of the Masonic Lodge 138 F & AM of West Bend.
He was also very active with the American Heart Association-Washington County Heart Walk.
He will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Susie; his cherished children, Judith and Gary Tarbox of Middleton, Fla., Kristine Helmueller of Wausau, Scott Klostermann of Eau Claire, Dwane and Ann Klostermann of West Bend and Kent Klostermann and fiancee, Shaynette of Eau Claire; two stepchildren, Brian Cummings of Milwaukee and Paul Cummings and fiancee, Janet of Princeton; nine grandchildren; one great-grandson, and a dear sister, Kolleen and Mike Schibine of New Prospect.
He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other special relatives and many dear friends.
Curtis is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Pearl Klostermann.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, Oct. 8, at 2 p.m. at Still Waters Community United Methodist Church, 3617 Scenic Road, Jackson, with Pastor Matt Hadley officiating.
Visitation with family and friends will be held on Saturday at the church only from 10 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 2 p.m.
Cremation will take place at Paradise Cremation Services of West Bend.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to Still Waters Community United Methodist Church, the American Diabetes Association or to the American Heart Association.
The Phillip Funeral Home of West Bend is assisting the family.
