Eugene M. Le Jeune
Eugene M. Le Jeune, 64, of Kewaskum, passed away Sunday, Oct. 16, 2005 at SynergyHealth St. Josephís Hospital, town of Polk.
Eugene was born to Eugene F. and Margaret (Leider) Le Jeune on Aug. 3, 1941 in Evanston, Ill. and lived in Rogers Park, Ill.
Eugene graduated in 1965 from Marquette University with a bachelorís degree in mechanical engineering.
After graduation he met Cheryl Janecek during the summer. After her graduation the couple married on Oct. 28, 1972 in St. Maryís Catholic Church of Des Plaines, Ill., where they continued to live.
They moved to West Bend and Eugene worked for Amity Leather Products, then W.H. Brady Co. as a senior project engineer in several manufacturing companies with assorted areas of expertise. Most recently, he was employed at API Software.
He had a passion for old rototillers and small engine repairs.
Eugene also loved gardening, water and snow skiing, roller skating and hiking.
Survivors include his wife, Cherie, and daughters, Christine, Cherisse and Rachelle.
He is further survived by his sister, Janet (Jim) Rodrian of Grafton; brothers, Ray of Georgia, Tom (Pat) of Florida, John, Leroy (Pam) and Ed (Sylvia), all of Illinois; his mother-in-law, Marjorie Janecek of Illinois; sisters-in-law, Jane (Dave) Scharringhausen of Illi-nois and Marilyn (Ron) Bock of California; a brother-in-law, Richard Janecek of Illinois; his godchild, T.J. Le Jeune; many nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Sunday, Oct. 23, at 5 p.m. at St. Peterís Catholic Church of Slinger.
Father Richard J. Stoffel will officiate, with Father Robert J. Bales concelebrating, and interment will take place in the New St. Peterís Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the church only on Sunday from 3 p.m. until time of Mass.
Memorials are appreciated to help the childrenís education.
