Ruben C. Kringel

Ruben C. Kringel, 84, of Cedarburg, went to his heavenly home on April 2, 2006.

He was born in the town of Jackson on Aug. 17, 1921 to the late Frank and Ida (nee Hecken-dorf) Kringel, and married the love of his life, Mildred Wolfgram, on Oct. 16, 1948 at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church in West Bend.

Ruben worked as a foreman for the Doerr Electric Co. and retired in 1983 after having worked there for 36 years.

When Ruben was not working, he enjoyed playing cards, gardening and bowling in the Lutheran League.

He was a lifetime active member at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church.

Survivors include his wife, Mildred; his siblings, Hertha Kasten of Fredonia, Norma Butt of Saukville, Mildred Peters of Grafton, Lorraine Butt of West Bend, Anita (Donald) Franzen of Grafton, Marvin (Carol) Kringel of Saukville and Franklin (Nancy) Kringel of West Bend; a sister-in-law, Anita Kringel of Grafton; and a brother-in-law, Arno Jobs of Saukville.

He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Ruben was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Gerhard Kringel; a sister, Edna Jobs; brothers-in-law, Edgar Kasten, Marvin Peters, Elvin Butt and Melvin Behm; a sister-in-law, Irene Behm; and a godchild, Shirley Larson.

Ruben will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 8, at noon at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church, 1268 Pleasant Valley Road, West Bend.

Rev. Kenneth Schmidt will officiate and interment will take place in the church cemetery following the funeral service.

Visitation will be Saturday at the church from 10 a.m. until time of service.
