Richard "Zuk" Eierman

Richard "Zuk" Eierman, 57, of West Bend, died April 8, 2006.

He was born March 7, 1949, in Wauwatosa, lived on Big Cedar Lake, and spent parts of the winter in his home in Venice, Fla.

He was owner and operator of NiPhos Coatings Inc. of Slinger.

Richard graduated from Wauwatosa East High School in 1967, and earned engineering and accounting degrees from The University of Wisconsin-Madi-son.

He served in the U.S. Air Force and was a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association.

Richard also served on the University of Wisconsin Alumni Association Scholarship Commit-tee.

He hosted the annual August BCL Summer Follies at his lake home.

Zuk was a proud sponsor of Slinger Little League, Slinger Advancement Association and Boy Scout Pack 3731, among other organizations and groups.

While in Florida, he was a member of the Venice Beach Committee.

Survivors include his most beloved wife, Sonia; their pets, Grunia and Keesa; his sister, Nancy J. (Richard) Bartelt of Venice, Fla.; his brothers, Dr. Robert (Lisa) Eierman of Eau Claire, and Donald Eierman of Slinger.

Also surviving are nieces, Lynette (Joel) Meissner and Natalie, Lauren and Rachel Eierman.

Cremation was in Venice, Fla.

A memorial celebration will be held May 14 at the Phillip Funeral Home in West Bend. Further details to be announced.
