Jeanette M. Guthrie

Jeanette M. Guthrie, nee Hibicki, 95, of West Bend died on Sunday, April 16, 2006 at Riverway Place Assisted Living.

She was born on April 24, 1910 in Milwaukee to the late Walter and Emily (nee Makowski) Hibicki, and on Oc. 29, 1932, she was united in marriage to John J. Guthrie in Milwaukee.

John predeceased Oct. 2, 1998.

Survivors include two children, Thomas (Katie) of Tucson, Ariz. and Nancy B. (Jerry) Carmody of West Bend; five grandchildren, Kim Guthrie (Jason Penn) of Madison, Karen Guthrie of Long Beach, Calif., Michael Guthrie of Anaheim, Calif., Julie (Brent) Ringlein of Spooner and Kellie (Scott) Yanke of Belgium; five great-grandchildren, Clare and Matthew Ringlein and Emma, Jacob and Bradley Yanke; two brothers-in-law, George (Pat) Guthrie and Allen Guthrie, both of Calabash, N.C.; a nephew, David (Mary Ellen) Gennrich of Waukesha; other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Eleanor Gennrich.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, April 23 at 4 p.m. at the Schmidt Funeral Home in West Bend.

Inurnment will be at a later date in Washington County Memorial Park, West Bend.

Visitation will be at the funeral home on Sunday from 2:30 until 3:45 p.m.
