Marie E. Albert
Marie E. Albert, 87, of Eden passed away Friday, April 21, 2006 at Manor Care Nursing Home in Fond du Lac.
She was born on July 25, 1918 the daughter of George and Anna Kiersten Koenig. On Oct. 3, 1939 she married Anthony M. Albert and raised her family on their farm in the town of Eden.
She was a member of of the Shepherd of the Hills Church, Eden and an active member of St. Maryís Altar Society, the Eden Firemanís Auxiliary and a member of the Ethan Allen Motherís Club. She loved her family dearly and especially enjoyed the grandchildren and great-grand-children. She was an avid seamstress and enjoyed sewing projects, quilting, playing cards and reading.
She will be forever remembered and loved by her children Marion (Andrew) Zuehlke of West Bend, Marge Albert of Fond du Lac, Tony (Joannes) Albert of Fond du Lac and Dave Albert of Lomira; nine grandchildren, Jeffrey Zuehlke, Connie (Mark) Geib, Michelle (Mark) Dahlinger, Cheryl (Mark) Rahn, Mark (Karen), Sarah (Carter) Peterson, Karl (fiancee Jessica Panzer) Albert, Ann (Dan) Loehr, and Joseph (Dolsie) Albert, and 12 adored great-grandchildren, Andrew, Jacob, and Elizabeth Dahlinger, Kelly Jo Rahn, Zachary and Zoe Albert, Mason and Griffin Geib, Kayla and Ethen Albert, Karlee Albert and Austin Loehr. She is further survived by her dear sister, Alice Krudwig, brother-in-law Leo Albert and sister-in-law, Marie (Alvin) Andrew.
Marie was preceded in death be her husband Anthony M. Albert; a brother, Lawrence Koenig; nine sisters-in-law, Sydonia Koenig, Barbara Albert, Cecilia Utz, Frances Albert, Geraldine Albert, Melinda Albert, Agnes Flemming, Miverva Albert and Rose Andrew; and six brothers-in-law, William Utz, John Krudwig, Joseph Albert, Edgar Andrew, Elmer Flemming and Bernard Albert.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, April 24, 2006 at 5:30 p.m. at Shepherd of the Hills Church, Eden, with visitation from 3 p.m. until time of service at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Shepherd of the Hills Parish, Eden or the Eden Fire Depart-ment.
