Ronald William Weyer

Ronald William Weyer, 77, of Tomah, formerly of West Bend, passed away on Monday, Aug. 7, 2006, at his daughter’s home in Tomah.

He was born on Nov. 10, 1928, to Bernard and Rose (Werner) Weyer in West Bend.

He was drafted into the United States Army and served during the Korean War.

Ron was united in marriage to Lorraine Ensenbach on May 20, 1950.

Ron spent his working years as a mechanic and worked for NagleHart/FabCo for many years.

He later married Annie Jaekel on Dec. 27, 1977.

Following his retirement, Ron worked as a grounds keeper for Washington County Memorial Park Cemetery in West Bend.

He was an avid Harley Davidson motorcyclist, riding well into his 70s. He was also an avid Packer fan and enjoyed Nascar races.

Ron loved working in the outdoors and enjoyed life to the fullest.

Survivors include his children, Dominique (Gary) Hruska of Warrens, Ronald John Weyer of Hartford, Valery (Mike) Fay of Warrens, Rachel Jensen of Warrens and Rebecca (Glen Bailey) Weyer of Tomah; grandchildren, Jeremy Weyer and Alyson Jensen; a stepdaughter, Gina Lloyd of West Bend; brothers, Bernard "Bernie" (Phylis) Weyer of Port Washington and Roy "Rex" (Ruby) Weyer of Allenton; sisters, Mary Wolf of West Bend and Betty Rottenbach of Tomahawk; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard and Rose; his wife, Annie; and brothers, David, James and Daniel Weyer.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, Aug. 13, at 1 p.m. at the County Line Supper Club in Warrens.

A visitation will also be held on Wednesday, Aug. 9, from 4 until 7 p.m. at the Schmidt Funeral Home, 629 Cedar St., West Bend.

The Torkelson Funeral Home of Tomah and the Schmidt Funeral Home of West Bend are assisting the family with arrangements.
