George Lulich, 83, of Hartford passed away Monday, Aug. 7, 2006 at Community Memorial Hospital in Menomonee Falls with his family by his side.
He was born April 23, 1923 in Iron Ridge to John and Mary (nee Hodock) Lulich, and married Helen Becker on Oct. 16, 1948 at St. Kilian Church in Hartford.
George was a heavy equipment operator.
He enjoyed restoring old tractors and fixing things, deer hunting and flying. He especially loved spending time up north and the times spent with his grandchildren.
George was a member of St. Mary of the Hill Parish.
He is survived by his loving wife, Helen; nine children, Joann (Robert) Daley of Friendship, John (Joanie) of Allenton, George, James (Patsy) and Mary Lulich, all of Hartford, Steven (Joanne) of Hustisford, Dorothy (Paul) Bralich of Sheboygan, Thomas (Julie) of Hartford and Pamela (Dave) Rust of Jackson; 19 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a sister, Millie Pronz of Florida; three brothers-in-law, Gilbert Brown of Hartford, Matt Rettler of Fox Lake and Edward Wagner of Mayville.
George is further survived by other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and three sisters, Mary Wagner, Ann Imler and Helen Bach.
A Mass of Christian Burial for George will be held Friday, Aug. 11, at 9:30 a.m. at St. Therese Chapel, Holy Hill, 1515 Carmel Road, Hubertus, with Father Fred Alexander officiating.
Family will greet relatives and friends at the Shimon Funeral Home, Hartford, on Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m., with a 7:30 p.m. prayer service.
