Elisabeth Gundermann, nee Dahmer, 91, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2006 at the Hartford Care Center.
She was born on Nov. 1, 1914 to the late Johann and Elisabeth Dahmer (nee Wagner) in Geshtromauch, Hungary.
Elisabeth married John Gundermann on Dec. 12, 1933 in Hungar, and they moved to the United States in 1950.
She was a member of Hartford Senior Friends, was involved with Senior Friends bowling at Kettle Moraine Bowl in Slinger and enjoyed gardening and crocheting.
Above all, she enjoyed spending time with her cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by a son, John (Mary) Gundermann of Menom-onee Falls; a daughter, Elizabeth Eichline of Hartford; nine grandchildren, Richard (Beth), John (Janineen) and David Gunder-mann, Linda (Mark) Aguilar, Susan (Darrell) Whitman, Connie (Richard) Kemmel, Earl (Tina) and Eric (Lisa) Eichline and Renee (Jeff) Zais.
She is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren; a brother, Johann Dahmer; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
A funeral service to honor the life of Elisabeth will be held on Friday, Aug. 11 at 7 p.m. at the Phillip Funeral Home in Slinger.
Pastor Cheryl Matusiak will officiate, and burial will take place on Saturday at 10 a.m. at Union Cemetery in Slinger.
Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday from 5 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 7 p.m.
