Ruth S. Zellner
Ruth S. Zellner (nee Smith), 97, of West Bend entered into eternal peace Friday, Aug. 11, 2006, at Kathy Hospice in the town of Polk.
Ruth was born Nov. 8, 1908 to Chester and Olga (nee Eggert) Smith in Milwaukee, where she was also raised. After schooling, she began working until she married Michael Zellner Jr. on Nov. 30, 1929.
The couple began a family of their own. After dedicating her love, time and energy to raising her children, she returned to work.
In 1967, Ruth and her husband moved to West Bend. She loved spending time sewing, knitting and reading.
Ruth will be missed by her daughter, Joyce Fralick of West Bend; her grandchildren, Mark (Patti) Fralick of Oconomowoc, Kathleen Fralick of West Bend, Timothy Fralick of Florida, Christine (Mark) Theodor of West Bend, Dawn (John) Hadden of Eagle, Michael Zellner of Nashotah and Tammy Zellner of West Allis; great-grandchildren, David Frasher of North Carolina, Devin and Alec Theodor of West Bend, Amy and Steven James of Eagle, and Jack and Sam Fralick of Oconomowoc; three great-great-grandchildren; and her daughter-in-law, Nola Zellner of Nashotah. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other special relatives and dear friends.
Preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one son, Kenneth; son-in-law, Clayton Fra-lick; and grandson, David Fralick.
Private funeral services in honor of Ruth were held at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel of West Bend.
Interment took place at Highland Memorial Park.
