Virginia C. Heisler

Virginia C. Heisler, 79, of West Bend, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Aug. 20, 2006 at Kathy Hospice, town of Polk.

Virginia was born Sept. 5, 1926, the daughter of Leo and Laura (nee Flasch) Heisler in Ashford.

She was a charter member of Meadowbrook Manor, where she resided for 33 years.

Survivors include her three siblings, John (Mary) Heisler of Fond du Lac, Laura Heisler of West Bend and Leo (Marge) Heisler of West Bend; her sister-in-law, Dolores Spradau of Campbellsport; nephew, Rick (Barb) Heisler of Campbellsport; two nieces, Sue (Tom) Malingow-ski of Oconto Falls and Nancy (Brian) Sekeres of West Bend; a step-niece, Jayne (Robin) Reis of West Bend; a step-nephew, Robert (Jean) Robrahn of West Bend; and her special friend, Mary Jo Norgel.

She is further survived by several great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives and friends.

Virginia was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, James Heisler; and a sister and brother-in-law, Marie (Werner) Hug.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 23, at 7 p.m. at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, 1025 S. Seventh Ave., West Bend, with Father Jeffrey Haines officiating.

Interment of ashes will take place in Holy Angels Cemetery.

Visitation with family and friends will be held on Wednesday from 4 p.m. until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 7 p.m. at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to either Kathy Hospice, 3232 Pleasant Valley Road, West Bend, WI 53095, or a charity of the donor’s choice.
