John "Jack" Bach

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated today at St. Francis Borgia South Catholic Church for John "Jack" Bach of Cedarburg. Jack was born to eternal life on Saturday, Aug. 19, 2006 at the Lasata Care Center at the age of 89. Visitation was held at the church prior to the service. Interment took place at Zur Ruhe Cemetery. Mueller Funeral Home in Cedarburg served the family.

Jack was born in Chicago, Ill., on Sept. 21, 1916, the son of the late Raymond and Adelaide (nee Ertl) Bach. He was a graduate of Cedarburg High School and also graduated from Marquette University with a degree in chemical engineering. On Oct. 27, 1945, Jack was united in marriage to the late Helen McCauley in Cedarburg. He enjoyed playing cards, cars, golfing, boating, ice skating and, most importantly, his family.

Jack is survived by his daughter Mary Bach (Tom Filla); grandchildren Mike and Kate; and sister Kathryn (Jerry) Czisny. He is further survived by other relatives and friends.
