Donald R. Jones
Donald R. Jones, 85, of Boltonville, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 27, 2006 at Cedar Lake Health Care Center in the town of West Bend.
He was born on April 19, 1921 in Fillmore, the son of the late George and Celesta (Crass) Jones, and on Oct. 7, 1950, he was united in marriage to Celesta Voeks at St. Lucas Evangelical Lutheran Church in Kewaskum.
His wife preceded him in death on March 11, 1995.
Donald served his country in the U. S. Army during World War II.
He was employed in construction and was a life member of Labor Union 113 in Milwaukee, a long-time member of the Boltonville Fire Department, a member of the American Legion Lt. Ray Dickop Post 36 West Bend, 40-ET-8 and St. Lucas Evangelical Lutheran Church in Kewaskum.
Survivors include two children, Diane Osborne of Oak Creek and Dale Jones of Germantown; other relatives and friends.
In addition to his wife and parents, Donald was preceded in death by two brothers, Wilson and William Jones; two sisters, Pearl Faber and Kathleen Foy; an infant brother, Robert, and an infant sister, Mabel.
Funeral services for Donald will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednes-day, Aug. 30, at St. Lucas Evangelical Lutheran Church in Kewaskum with Rev. Timothy Henning officiating.
Military rites will follow the service and burial will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday in Lutheran Memorial Park in Kewaskum.
Relatives and friends may call at the church on Wednesday from 4 p.m. until the time of services.
Memorials to St. Lucas Lutheran School Fund are appreciated.
