James W. Panawash
James W. Panawash, 70, of Beaver Dam, died on Monday, Aug. 28, 2006 at University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, Aug. 31, at 11 a.m. at St. Johnís Lutheran Church in Waukesha.
There will be no visitation, and cremation has taken place.
James Walter Panawash was born on March 3, 1936, in Wauksha, the son of the late Walter and Vera (Hine) Panawash.
James attended grade school and high school in Waukesha and then served his country in the U.S. Air Force for 10 years.
He attended the University of Texas in Corpus Christi for 3 1ŕ2 years.
James worked many years as a draftsman-designer until he retired.
He married Lorrie Rassman on August 4, 1989 in West Bend.
Survivors include his wife, Lorrie; children, Brenda (Mark) Panawash-Bielinski of Hartland, Debra (Stan) Galbraith of Richfield, Gregory Panawash of Cambria and Jennifer (Tim) Rouse of Waukesha; step-children, Susan (Mike) Choinski of Watertown and Michael Rassman of West Bend; seven grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; one great-grandchild; three sisters; two brothers; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
The Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam is serving the family.
