Marion J. Timmer

Marion J. Timmer, 81, of Lomira died Wednesday Nov. 29, 2006 at St. Agnes Hospital, Fond du Lac.

She was born in Fond du Lac County on Oct. 7, 1925, the daughter of Andrew D. and Susan M. (Mintner) Seefeld, and on April 18, 1981 she married Bernard "Jim" Timmer.

Marion was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Lomira and a Red Cross volunteer all her adult life.

She enjoyed cooking, baking, square dancing, golf, working at her granddaughter’s motocross races and helping others.

Marion was a great traveler, visiting all 50 states, Europe, Canada and Mexico and spending the winter months in Arizona with Phil and Gail.

Her greatest joy was spending time with her granddaughter and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include her son, Phil (Gail) Majerus of Lomira; her daughter, Deborah (Roger) Scheunemann of Fond du Lac; her granddaughter, Susan (Ryan) Menzer; her great-grandchildren, Sierra, Riley, Emma and Logan; her sister, Gail (Harold) Biggs of Greenville; her niece and nephew, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jim on Dec. 25, 1998, and her special friend and cousin, Beverly Rahn.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Dec. 2, at 1 p.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church, Lomira.

Rev. John Hobbins will officiate, and entombment will follow in the Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Ledgeview Memorial Park, Fond du Lac.

Visitation will be Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of services at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to Trinity United Methodist Church or the Salva-tion Army.
