Dorothy Fellers, nee Stricker, 88, of West Bend, died on Monday, Dec. 4, 2006 at her home.
She was born on June 17, 1918 in Battle Creek, Neb. to the late Charles J. and Myrtle (nee Beer) Stricker.
After moving to California in 1935, she worked in the fruit harvest industry for several years and also held other miscellaneous jobs.
In 1951, Dorothy meet her future husband, Roger Fellers, who was a soldier at Camp Beale, Calif.
They married April 28, 1952 in Reno, Nev., and then moved to his home state of Wisconsin, settling in West Bend where they made their home for over 45 years.
Roger passed away on June 19, 1998.
Dorothy worked as an assembler at Amity Leather Products for 23 years, retiring on Oct. 1, 1980.
Survivors include several nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by seven sisters and two brothers.
Burial of the cremated remains will take place at a later date in Washington County Mem-orial Park, West Bend.
The Schmidt Funeral Home of West Bend is serving the family.
