Wendy S. Bartelt
Wendy S. Bartelt (nee Cole), 47, of West Bend went home to be with our Lord on Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2006.
Wendy was born on Feb. 27, 1959, the daughter of Roy E. and Diane A. (nee Ballman) Cole in Milwaukee.
Wendy has lived a full and complete life. The final peace of all she has accomplished came into place two years ago. It was when she heard the Gospel of God"s grace. Wendy and David accepted the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross as payment for their own personal sins. This was a life changing moment from which she has never looked back and it is the strength she drew from to get her through the last couple of years. She made the ultimate commitment of faith and was baptized this last summer.
Wendy was and is an inspiration to us all. Thank you for all the prayers and those who were the hands and feet of Christ to help our family through these difficult times.
She is survived by her husband, David J. Bartelt of West Bend; her dear children, Gage and Nathan Bartelt; her mother, Diane A. Michal (special friend, Gene Woodruff); her stepdaughter, Nika (Joe) Michalet; two step-grandsons, Christopher and Nolan Michalet; her sister, Jodi (Ron) Clesen of West Bend; her cousin, Janet (Jim) Jonietz; four half-siblings, Scott (Hope) Cole, Lisa (Tim) Sutton, Michelle "Mickey" (Art) Amos, and Kimberly Hagelbarger; and her grandmothers, Anne Ballman and Margie Cole. She is further survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other special relatives and many dear friends.
