Loretta Mueller (nee Schmidt), 95, of the town of Addison passed into eternal life on Thursday, Dec. 7, 2006 at the Hope Health & Rehab Center in Lomira.
She was born Feb. 22, 1911 in Hartford to Cornelius and Bar-bara (nee Eiche) Schmidt. She married Jerome Mueller on Sept. 30, 1930 at St. Kilian Catholic Church in Hartford.
Loretta was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church, a past member of St. Peter & Paul Church and a lifelong member of the Christian Mothers in Nenno.
Loretta farmed near Nenno alongside her husband until his death in 1974. She loved crocheting, doing embroidery work, baking cookies, breads and rolls.
Loretta is survived by five sons, Jerome Jr. (Joanne) of Slinger, Franklin of Lomira, Harold (Diane) of Allenton, Wal-ter (Carole) of Theresa, Carroll (Janis) Mueller of Allenton and a daughter, Mary (Vernon) Kreuser of Theresa; 16 grandchildren; and 23 great grandchildren. She is further survived by other relatives and friends.
Loretta was preceded in death by her husband Jerome, infant twin sons, her sister and brother-in-law, Vera (Albert) Buchmann, eight brothers-in law and their spouses, and her daughter-in-law Joyce Mueller.
Mass of Christian Burial for Loretta will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in St. Lawrence with Father Werner Wolf officiating.
Family will greet relatives and friends at the Shimon Funeral Home, 824 Union St., Hartford, on Sunday from 4 to 7 p.m. with a prayer service at 6:30 p.m.
Interment will be at St. Peter & Paul Cemetery in Nenno.
