Jeanette D. Franke

Jeanette D. Franke, 84, of Horicon, died on Saturday, Dec. 9, 2006 at the Uniersity of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison.

The former Jeanette Dorothy Koll was born on Aug. 25, 1922 in West Bend, the daughter of Nicholas and Manilla (Frings) Koll, and on April 19, 1944, she was united in marriage to Victor Franke at St. Theresa Cath-olic Church in Theresa.

Together, they had two children, whom Jeanette was extremely dedicated to.

She was also very supportive of her husbandís TV business.

She later worked at Fliteway Sales in Horicon for over 17 years.

Jeanette enjoyed rustic road traveling with her husband, Vic.

She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 157 for more than 50 years, and she was an active member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Survivors include her husband; two children, Kathleen (James) Thomas of Berlin and Jerold (Lynn) Franke of Racine; two grandchildren, Nathan and Michael Franke; her twin brothers, LeRoy (Nancy) Koll and Paul (Evangeline) Koll, both of Theresa; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.

Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents.

Friends and family may call on Tuesday, Dec. 19, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Horicon from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. with Father Mike Petrie officiating.

Burial will follow at St. Malachy Cemetery in Horicon.
