Harold H. Chase Jr.
Funeral services were held on Dec. 8 at the Mueller Funeral Home in Grafton for Harold H. Chase Jr., of Grafton. Harold died on Monday, Dec. 4, 2006 at the age of 63. The Rev. Howard Manos officiated the funeral service. Visitation was held on Friday, prior to the service. Interment took place on Dec. 9 at Union Cemetery in Wautoma.
Harold H. Chase Jr. was born on May 25, 1943 in Milwaukee to the late Harold Sr. and Doris (nee Shaeck) Chase.
Harold founded H. Chase & Son Contractors. The business was his passion and legacy for his son, Harold III. Dump trucks, backhoes and even semis, Harold loved anything on wheels (with a big engine, of course). Harold always had at least one boat to go fishing with his buddies. There was a sparkle of love in his eye for his grandchildren, whom he loved to play with and tease. Harold started each day early by watching Father Murry on TV at 3 a.m. He loved discussing the Bible with all who knew him.
Harold is survived by his wife of 42 years Charlene (nee Kiefert); his children Dawn Botticelli of Grafton, Harold Chase III of Grafton and Debra (Pete) Krier of Cedar Grove; grandchildren Billy Janke of Mayville, Sheri (Jason) Mead of Waukesha, Cameron and Chloe Botticelli of Grafton and Christoper Rennicke Jr. of Grafton. He is further survived by other relatives and friends.
