Lorraine D. "Tudy" Korth

Lorraine D. "Tudy" Korth, 83, of Kewaskum, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2006, at the Samaritan Health Center in West Bend.

She was born on Nov. 7, 1923, in Kewaskum, the daughter of the late Kilian and Emma (Stark) Honeck, and on Aug. 23, 1947, she was united in marriage to Gilbert "Bud" Korth at St. Lucas Evangelical Lutheran Church in Kewaskum.

Tudy was a founding partner of Hon-E-Kor Country Club in Kewaskum and was instrumental in the naming of the country club.

She was a member of St. Lucas Evangelical Lutheran Church in Kewaskum, where she was a Sunday school teacher for over 25 years, and she also assisted at St. Lucas with funeral meals.

Survivors include her loving husband of 59 years, Bud; her son, James "Jonesy" Korth (special friend, Kay Herman) of Kewas-kum; her former daughter-in-law, Jane Korth of Kewaskum; six grandchildren, Jerad Weinfurter, Jamie Weinfurter, Kelly (Brad) Nerat, Jesse (Julie) Korth, Kate Korth and Michael Korth; five great-grandchildren, Grace and Joey Nerat, Kayla Roberts, Emma and Megan Lubbert; a sister-in-law, Janice Honeck, of Kewas-kum; other relatives and many friends.

In addition to her parents, Tudy was preceded in death by her daughter, Jean Ward, and two brothers, Leander (Ione) Honeck and Kilian Honeck Jr.

Funeral services for Tudy will be held at 2 p.m., on Saturday, Dec. 16, at St. Lucas Evangelical Lutheran Church, in Kewaskum.

Rev. Edwin Fredrich will officiate, and burial will follow in Lutheran Memorial Park in Kewaskum.

Relatives and friends may call at the church on Saturday from 11 a.m. until the time of services.

Memorials to St. Lucas Evangelical Lutheran Church, the Alzheimer’s Association, the National Stroke Association or the charity of one’s choice are appreciated.
