Helen Puerling, 90, a resident of Hope Health and Rehabili-tation Center in Lomira, formerly of Campbellsport, died Sunday Dec. 24, 2006 at the home.
She was born on Feb. 9, 1916 in West Bend, the daughter of Henry and Margaret Krell Thill, and on June 21, 1939, she married Nicholas S. Puerling at Holy Angels Catholic Church in West Bend.
He preceded her in death on Jan. 20, 2002.
Helen worked at Regal Ware Inc., Kewaskum, for 28 years and was a member of St. Matthew’s Catholic Church in Campbells-port.
She loved being with her children and grandchildren.
Survivors include her children, Robert (Barbara) Puerling of West Bend, Richard (Margaret) Puerling of Rosville, Ga. and Judy (Larry) Danielson of Campbells-port; 12 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two great- great-grandchildren; her sisters, Isabella Wenninghoff of West Bend and Gertrude Timplin of New Mexico; many nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Robert and Arnold Thill.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, Dec. 29, at 7 p.m. at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church, Campbellsport.
Rev. Neil Zinthefer will officiate, and burial will be Saturday in St. Matthew’s Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday from 4 p.m. until time of service at the church.
Memorials are appreciated to St. Matthew’s Church or School.
