Frances Rose Day

Frances Rose Day, 90, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2006, where she lived at Cedar Bay West.

She is survived by her beloved sons, Joseph W. Ku-nesh and Dan-iel J. (Judy) Kunesh; dearest grandchildren, Scott (Sandy) Ku-nesh, Lisa Ku-nesh and Dan-iel (Paula) Ku-nesh; her great-grandchildren, Andrew and Ashley Kunesh; and nieces and nephew.

She is predeceased by her beloved husband, Edward Day; son, Gerald Kunesh, daughter-in-law Joan Kunesh; a brother, William Bromberek; a sister, Margaret Zelenka; and her first husband, Joseph Kunesh.

Frances was born on Dec. 20, 1915 in Denmark, Wis. to the late John and Mary (Holda) Brom-berek.

To all who knew Frances, her middle name "Rose" truly reflected the person she came to be a genuine sweetheart of a person who was liked by everyone who met her and coincidentally a great lover of beautiful flowers.

Even with this sweet, delicate persona, Frances was always the strong, dedicated, hardworking pillar of strength devoted to raising a good family.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, Feb. 3 at 11 a.m. at the Schmidt Funeral Home, West Bend.

Rev. Victor Hackbarth will officiate, and entombment will be in Nicolet Memorial Gardens in Green Bay.

Visitation will be at the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. Friday, immediately preceding the funeral service.
