Elroy Carl Klug
Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Friday evening (Feb. 3), at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Cedarburg for Elroy Carl Klug of Grafton, who died on Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2006 at the age of 80 at the Jewish Home and Care Center in Mequon. Visitation will be held at the church on Friday, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., prior to the service. Interment will take place at Immanuel Cemetery in Cedarburg. Mueller Funeral Home in Cedarburg is serving the family.
Elroy was born on Nov. 18, 1925 in Cedarburg, the son of the late Oscar and Mary (nee Maske) Klug. He was united in marriage on Feb. 10, 1945 to Lorraine O. Ziehl. Elroy worked for Tecumseh Products Company in Grafton for over 38 years. His favorite pastimes were fishing, hunting, camping, gardening and traveling.
Elroy is survived by his wife Lorraine; children Geraldine (Edgar) Juedes, Marilyn Klug, Patricia (Robert) Thompson, Carl (Linda) Klug and Nancy (Michael) Apel; grandchildren Jacqueline Juedes, Jeanette (Michael) Gabrys, Michelle Klug, Cory (Kenn Monroe) Thompson, Kelly (Jeffrey) Davis, Kevin (Niki) Thompson, Curt (Amber) Thompson, Kristie (Lucas) Spettel, Dean Klug, Connie (Ben) Buckenberger and Kimberly Apel; great-grandchildren Andrew Davis, Trent Davis, Mason Thompson and Natalie Spettel. He is further survived by other relatives and friends.
Elroy was preceded in death by his sister Sophia Schmitz.
