Rocco J. Logue
Rocco J. Logue, 77, of Slinger, passed away Saturday, Feb. 4, 2006 at Aurora Sinai Medical Center.
He was born Jan. 23, 1929 to Anthony and Rachel (nee Fumia) Logue in Milwaukee, where he was also raised.
Rocco honorably served his country in the United States Navy during World War II, and later dedicated his time and courage to the United States Army during the Korean Conflict.
He was a truck driver for over 15 years for a variety of companies.
Rocco will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his loving companion and best friend, Jean Schwalbe of Slinger; his cherished daughters, Susan and Roxanne Logue, both of Milwaukee; four grandchildren, Theresa (Raf) Garcia, Shannon (Jean Marc) Montiero, Kari Ann Kircher and Melissa Logue; six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Isabelle Logue and Leah Dryden, both of Milwaukee; and one brother, Anthony (Mary) Logue of Menomonee Falls.
He will also be missed by nieces, nephews, other special relatives, and many dear friends.
Rocco is preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Joseph; and one brother-in-law, Tom Dryden.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 8, at 11 a.m. at St. Peterís Catholic Church, 202 E. Washington St., Slinger.
Father Richard J. Stoffel will officiate, and interment will take place in St. Peterís Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday at the church only, from 10 a.m. until the time of the Mass at 11 a.m.
The family would like to extend their appreciation for memorials that are donated in lieu of flowers.
The Phillip Funeral Home of Slinger is assisting the family.
