Virginia R. Kleist
Virginia R. Kleist, 96, of Beaver Dam passed away at Hillside Manor on Sunday, Feb. 5, 2006.
She was born Sept. 11, 1909 in Elk-mound, the daughter of Ludvig and Syl-via (nee Lee) Ludvigson and married Victor Kleist on June 22, 1929 in Red Wing, Minn.
Virginia was a past member of Juneau, Clyman and Richfield senior citizens, and a long-time member of St. Johnís Ev. Lutheran Church.
She enjoyed playing cards and playing solitary was her favorite card game.
Survivors include her children, Victor Kleist of Fond du Lac and Yvonne "Vicki" (Ronald) Buschkopf of Juneau; her grandchildren, David Kleist of Colorado, Dennis Kleist of Fond du Lac, Robert (Jeanne) Kleist of West Bend, Barbara (Jon) Kramer of North Fond du Lac, Rick Kleist of Indiana, Sandra (Steve) Suess of Kansas and Ronald Jr. (Holly) Buschkopf of Waterloo; a sister-in-law, Rosemary Kleist of Maine; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Victor, in 1985; a daughter-in-law, Delores Kleist (nee Wagner); three brothers and two sisters.
Visitation will be held Thursday, Feb. 9, from noon until 1 p.m. at St. Johnís Ev. Lutheran Church in Juneau, followed by funeral services at 1 p.m.
Rev. Douglas Westenburg will officiate and interment will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Hart-ford.
The Berndt-Ledesma Funeral Home, Juneau, is serving the family.
