Armand K. Bohn
Armand K. Bohn, 94, of Hartford passed away Thursday, Feb. 9, 2006.
He was born Nov. 19, 1911 in Huilsburg, the son of Charles and Olga (nee Schulz) Bohn, and married Ruth Steffen on Nov. 20, 1943 at Peace Lutheran Church in Hartford.
Armand farmed north of Hartford near the airport most of his life and retired from farming. He was a lifetime member of Peace Lutheran Church.
Armand was known for his upbeat personality, his jovial outlook and a sense a person had about feeling better after being with him.
He enjoyed being outdoors, fishing and hunting.
Survivors include his nieces and nephews, Charles (Marion) Steffen of North Carolina, Eldine (Pete) Neumann of Beaver Dam, Arleen Schwantes of Hustisford, Marilyn Schultz of Dundee, Ralph (Kathleen) Kutz of Dundee, Larry (Sandi) Gutjahr of Sussex, Ronald (Kathleen) Diels of Stoughton, Richard (Katherine) Diels of Ladysmith, Joyce Diels of New Ulm, Minn. and Carol Fuchs of West Bend.
Also surviving are great- nieces, great-nephews and other relatives and friends.
Armand is preceded in death by his wife, Ruth, in 1988.
Visitation will be Friday, Feb. 17, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Peace Lutheran Church in Hartford.
Funeral service will follow at 1 1 p.m. at the church with Rev. Aaron Steinbrenner officiating.
Interment will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
Memorials to Peace Lutheran Church would be appreciated.
