Helen M. Weber

Helen M. Weber (nee Weber) of Hartford passed away on Thursday, Feb. 16, 2006 at the Hartford Care Center. She was 85 years old.

She was born November 15, 1920 in Neosho to Matt and Regina (nee Konrath) Weber. She married Roger Weber on June 10, 1944 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Thompson.

Helen was a member of St. Mary’s of the Hill Parish. She was a member of the Altar Society at St. Patrick’s.

She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed her life on the farm and raising her nine children.

Helen is survived by seven daughters, Gertrude (Douglas) Ray of Hartford, Janet Sell (special friend Bob Millar) of Hartland, Carol (Wayne) Zentner of Slinger, Marion (Tom) Stapleton of Hartford, Dona (William) McGrath of Hartland, Susan (Mike) Siewert of Menomonee Falls and Sharon Rehlinger of Hartford; a son, Roger Jr. (Carol) Weber of Hartford; a daughter-in-law, Judi Weber of Belgium; 27 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; a brother, Ron (Rose) Weber of Hartford and a sister, Patricia Klink of Hartford; sisters-in-law, Anita Hecker of Hartland, Joan Weber of Rubicon and Lorna Weber of Slinger; a brother-in-law, Kenneth Weber of Hartford. She is further survived by other relatives and special friends.

Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Roger; a son, Frank; two sons-in-law, Daniel Rehlinger and Jeffrey Bertz; a grandson, Michael Weber; a sister, Lenora (Eugene) Thomas; two brothers, Arnold and Jerome (Catherine) Weber; and a brother-in-law, Gerald Klink.

Mass of Christian Burial for Helen was Monday, Feb. 20, 2006 at St. Patrick’s Chapel, Thompson, with Father Fred Alexander officiating.

Family greeted relatives and friends at Shimon Funeral Home in Hartford on Sunday, with a prayer vigil.

Interment was at St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Thompson.

Memorials to St. Mary’s of the Hill Parish or charity of one’s choice appreciated.

Also a special thank you to the loving, caring staff of the Deerview Meadows for their wonderful care of our beloved mother over the past years.
