Lucille Nigh, 69, of the town of Ashford, passed away at her home on Monday, Feb. 27, 2006 with her loving family at her side.
She was born on Feb. 19, 1937 in Barron, the daughter of the late Alvin and Helen (Ner-ling) Miller, and on July 17, 1982, she was united in marriage to Robert Nigh at St. John Lutheran Church in New Fane.
Lucille was an Avon representative for several years and a Girl Scout leader.
She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in New Fane and the Ladies Aid.
Lucille enjoyed gardening, especially flowers, and driving her 1952 Studebaker.
Survivors include her husband, Robert; five children, Anthony (Tamara) Henning of Grayling, Mich., Terry (Tracy) Henning of Madison, Walter "Bill" Henning III (fiancˇe, Ronda Krenn) of North Fond du Lac, Brenda (Don) Gellings of Mt. Calvary and Susan (Martin) Lowden of West Bend; two stepdaughters, Sherri (Paul) Hipol of Mineral Wells, Texas and Robin Slottke of Henrietta, Texas; 20 grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by a stepson, Steven Nigh.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 2, at St. John Lutheran Church in New Fane.
Rev. Mark Eckert will officiate and burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Friends may call from 3 until 8 p.m. on Wednesday at the Miller Funeral Home in Kewaskum, and at the church on Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of services.
