Karen Leigh Teschan
Karen Leigh (Wolf) Teschan, 52, of New Berlin, passed away early Tuesday morning, Jan. 3, 2006, surrounded by family.
She will be warmly remembered for her loving spirit, nurturing personality and enduring inner strength. Her warm smile, infectious laughter and mischievous sense of humor will live on in our hearts forever.
Karen was born on Sept. 8, 1953 in Sayre, Pa., to Kenneth and Bertha Wolf.
She lived most of her life in the West Bend area before moving to New Berlin in 1999.
Karen was mother to four hardworking, ambitious children, whom she loved dearly.
In 2002, Karen married Dr. Rudy Teschan, the love of her life.
Karen and Rudy enjoyed traveling together, exploring nature and collecting ancient artifacts. Their love for each other was admired by everyone.
Karen was an accomplished massage therapist and Reiki master and owned her own business, Touch of Spirit.
Survivors include her parents; her husband, Rudolf (Rudy) Teschan; four children, Shawn Techtman, 33, of Saulkville, Angelica "Angel" Techtman, 32, of Mesa, Ariz., Amanda "Mandy" Wintheiser, 25, of Tucson, Ariz. and Joshua "Josh" Wintheiser (Becky), 23, of Flagstaff, Ariz.; five grandchildren, Gregory, Felicia, Lucas, McKenna and Matthew; and four siblings, Joan Weiss (Thomas) of Mount Horeb, John (Christina) of Plymouth, Russ (Bonnie) of Grand Rapids, Mich. and Fred (Cindy) of West Bend.
Additionally, she is survived by numerous friends and extended family members.
Preceding her in death were her grandparents, Leo and Irene Wolf and Carl and Beulah Krouse, and a niece, Ginny Jo Weiss.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, Jan. 6 at Church and Chapel Funeral Service in Waukesha, four blocks South of I-94 on Highway J at Bluemound Road (JJ).
Visitation will be Friday from 10 a.m. until noon, with funeral service from noon to 1 p.m.
