Richard A. "Rick" Boehlen Jr.
Richard A. "Rick" Boehlen Jr., 38, of Kewaskum, was taken home by his Lord on Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2006.
Rick was born on April 22, 1967 to Richard A. and Suzanne T. (nee Feucht) Boehlen Sr. in Milwaukee.
He was raised in the Nenno area and was a 1985 graduate of Slinger High School.
Rick furthered his education at Moraine Park Technical College, receiving his associates degree in 1987 in tool and die.
Rick enjoyed spending time in the outdoors, especially hunting, and loved spending quality time with his children.
He has forever touched the lives and hearts of his parents, Richard and Suzanne Boehlen; his children, Shawna and Kyle of Fredonia; his siblings, Patty Evans and her husband, Michael, of Jackson and Scott Boehlen and his wife, Shelly, of Neenah; his grandmothers, Mary Boehlen of Menomonee Falls and Virginia Feucht of Theresa; and special nieces and nephews, Carly and Alex Boehlen, and Tyler and Christopher Evans.
He will also be deeply missed by his aunts, uncles, other special relatives, many dear friends and his cat, "Chloe."
Rick was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Michael Boeh-len and George J. Feucht.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, Jan. 15, at 7:30 p.m. at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel, 1420 W. Paradise Drive, West Bend, with Father Joseph Dom-inic officiating.
Interment will take place in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Allenton, on Monday at 10 a.m.
Visitation with family and friends will be held at the funeral home on Sunday from 4 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 7:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like to extend their sincere appreciation for memorials that are offered to his children’s educational fund.
