Lucille M. Collins
Lucille M. Collins, nee Hauschel, 91, of Hartford, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2006 at the Samaritan Health Center in West Bend.
She was born on May 19, 1914 in the town of Rubicon to Victor and Harriet (nee Foote) Hauschel, and married Joseph Collins on Oct. 12, 1935 at St. Kilian Catholic Church in Hartford.
Lucille was a member of St. Kilian Catholic Church and past member of the Daughters of Isabella.
She loved antiques and finding new treasures. She also loved traveling, her flower gardens, playing cards, listening to polkas on WTKM and especially spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include her children, Jean (Erv) Benka of Hartford, Robert (Teresa) Collins of Va., Dr. Joseph (Kathy) Collins of Oconomowoc, Carole (Leroy) Breuer of Hartford and Gail Aufdermauer of Delafield; 15 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Further surviving are nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph, in 1965; a son, Gary Collins, and her sisters, Doris (Herbert) Thorn and Mary (Ray) Smith.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Sunday, Jan. 22 at 4 p.m. at St. Kilianís Catholic Church, 428 Forest St., Hartford .
Father Michael Petrie will officiate and interment will be in St. Kilian Cemetery, Hartford.
Family will greet relatives and friends on Sunday from 1:30 to 4 p.m. at the church only.
Memorials to St. Kilianís Church or the American Diabetes Association appreciated.
