Richard G. ‘Rick’ Risalvato
Richard G. ‘Rick’ Risalvato, 49, of West Bend passed away on Sunday, Jan. 22, 2006 at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born Jan. 23, 1956 in Mineola, N.Y. to Leonard Risal-vato and Dorothea Risalvato Hargreaves.
Rick’s passion in life was his love for music. He was a very gifted and accomplished musician with a love for a wide variety of music. He also had a passion for cooking.
Survivors include his special friend, Peter Brahs of West Bend; a brother, Tom (Kim) Risalvato of Fort Walton Beach, Fla.; sisters, Lyn (Cliff) Goble and Kathy (Frank) Piccione of Fort Walton Beach; Patty (David) Wyatt of Kalispell, Mont. and Suzanne (Jim) Averill of Niceville, Fla.
He was a special uncle to Tommy (Sarah), Chris (Jen) and Jeffrey Risalvato, Mandy (Mike) Holguin, Kristen Walker; Gina, Ryan and Lisa Goble, Angela, Stephanie and Jennifer Piccione, Candace Wyatt and Michael and Randy Looney.
He is further survived by other relatives and special friends.
Rick was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services for Rick will be held on Thursday, Jan. 26, at 10 a.m. at the Shimon Funeral Home, 824 Union St., Hartford.
Rev. Jim Hill will officiate, and inurnment will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Hartford.
Memorials may be made in Rick’s memory to the American Cancer Society.
