He was born Sept. 17, 1932.

Harold was a member of Operating Engineers Local 139, and recently received his 45-year pin.

He was also a retired Slinger fireman and a member of VFW Post 19 of Slinger.

Survivors include his wife, Kay; a daughter, Laure L. (Bob) Dei; a son, Christopher Beine; granddaughters, Katelyn, Savan-nah and Aubrey Dei; brothers, Robert (Joan), Norm (Linda), and sisters, Jean Zingsheim, Judy (Doug) Hansen, Jayne Szivulka and Karen (Don) Griffin.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Herb and Olive Beine; brothers, James (Barb) and Tom, and a sister, Joan Retzlaff.

A Memorial Mass will be held Wednesday, Feb. 1 at 6:30 p.m. at St. Peter’s Church in Slinger, with a gathering from 5:30 p.m. until the time of Mass.

Those who wish may give memorials to the American Heart Association or the Diabetes Society.
