Paul T. Zimonick

Paul T. Zimonick, 49, West Bend, formerly of Green Bay, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 28, 2006 after being challenged with cancer for seven years.

Paul was born on April 29, 1956 in Green Bay, the son of Frank and Mary Zimonick, and was a graduate of Our Lady of Premontre with the class of 1974.

On Sept. 1, 1979 Paul married Chris Wilson at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church.

He had been employed by Brooks Tractor, Inc. since 1977.

Paul loved the outdoors and enjoyed his favorite hunting spot at the family land in Vilas County.

He enjoyed the times spent fishing, especially at Medicine Stone Lakes in Canada, as well as spending time at the cottage in Spread Eagle.

Paul cherished his family and friends and the times spent with them.

He was a loving husband, father, son, brother and a friend to many, and will always be lovingly remembered and sorrowfully missed.

Paul is survived by his wife, Chris; one daughter, Pamela and her fiancˇ Peter Janczewski of Sparta; two sons, Bryan and Thomas, at home; his parents, Frank and Mary Zimonick; his mother-in-law, Jean Hebel; his father-in-law, Ken (Pearle) Wil-son; two sisters, Barbara (Mark) Delsart and Ann (Raleigh) Simmons; two brothers, Mark Zimonick (Bonny Chapman) and John (Janette) Zimonick; four sisters-in-law, Sue (Rob) Coffey, Linn (Jim) Heider, Jo (Mike) Vanden-Hoogan and Kathy Wilson; one brother-in-law, Jim (Joyce) Wil-son.

He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Preceding him in death were an infant daughter, Christi Linn; his infant sister, Ann, and his father-in-law, Russ Hebel.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 1, from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Family, 1307 Lourdes Ave., De Pere.

A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated at 11 a.m. with Father Tim Shillcox, O.Praem. officiating.

The Hansen Family Funeral and Cremation Srvices, 1644 Lime Kiln Road, Green Bay (920-593-2620) is assisting the family.
