Oscar Beyer, 78, of the town of Scott, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 29, 2006 at Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center in Sheboygan.
He was born on March 12, 1927 in the town of Scott, the son of the late Charles and Marie (Heberer) Beyer.
He served his country in the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict attaining the rank of corporal at his time of discharge in 1953.
Oscar worked as a farmhand for many area farmers.
He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in the town of Scott.
Survivors include a brother, Fred C. (Betty) Beyer of Adell; three sisters, Evelyn Beyer of Wauwatosa, Viola (Roland) Kelly of Snohomish, Wash. and Eleanor (Leonard) Heimermann of Hartford; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 1, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in the town of Scott.
Rev. Kurt Ziemann will officiate, and burial with military graveside rites will follow in the church cemetery.
Relatives and friends may call at the church on Wednesday from 11 a.m. until the time of services.
