Victor J. Ramshak

Victor J. Ramshak, 89, of West Bend, entered eternal peace on Monday, Jan. 30, 2006, at Synergy- Health St. Joseph’s Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

Victor was born Nov. 22, 1916 to Frank and Theresa (nee Bitenc) Ramshak in Milwaukee, where he was also raised. He was a 1935 graduate of Custer High School.

He married Betty Jane Orsolano on Nov. 8, 1941 in Waukon, Iowa.

After marriage, the couple continued to live in Milwaukee, until moving to the West Bend area in 1989.

Victor enjoyed fishing and was a retiree of Harnischfeger after 42 years of dedicated service.

He was a member of St. Paul’s Church and Sloga.

Victor will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his loving wife of 64 years, Betty Jane; his children, Sharon Ram-shak of West Bend and Greg (Mary) Ramshak of Grafton; three grandchildren, Julie, Troy and Brian; eight great-grandchildren, Rylie, Keegan, Hannah, Nathan, Hunter, Alex and Tim; and one great-great-grandchild, Blair.

Victor will also be missed by other special relatives and dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Theresa Ramshak.

A memorial service to honor the life of Victor will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 1, at 4 p.m. at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel, 1420 W. Paradise Drive, West Bend.

Rev. Paul Reede will officiate, and cremation will take place at Paradise Cremation Service of West Bend, followed by Inurn-ment at Wisconsin Memorial Park.

Visitation with family and friends will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 4 p.m.

The family would like to extend their appreciation for memorials designated to the Cedar Lake Foundation.
