Ricky A. Rodenkirch
Ricky A. Rodenkirch, 61, passed away on Tuesday, July 4, 2006 after a long battle with cancer.
Ricky was born on May 27, 1945 to Richard and Violet (Austin) Rodenkirch. He married Helen Sell on July 13, 2001 in West Bend.
Ricky served his country in the Vietnam War as part of the Military Police, U.S. Army.
He worked as a carpenter his entire life and was a member of the Milwaukee Carpenters Union. He retired in 2004.
His hobbies included hunting and a great love of fishing.
Ricky is survived by his loving wife Helen; two sons, Tony Rodenkirch of Beaver Dam and John Rodenkirch of Beaver Dam; one daughter, Sarah Rodenkirch of West Bend; Helenís children; six grandchildren, Tyler, Styles, Hannah, Kaylee, Natalie and Dakota; his mother, Violet Rodenkirch; two brothers, James (Sherri) Rodenkirch and Raymond "Skip" (Florence) Rodenkirch; and two sisters, Sue (John) Krebs and Pam (James) Roethle. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
Ricky was preceded in death by his father, Richard, and nephew, Kevin.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. at the Phillip Funeral Home of West Bend Saturday with Pas-tor Jean Bartlett of Fifth Avenue United Methodist Church officiating. Cremation at Paradise Cremation Services of West Bend.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 1 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 3 p.m.
