Brian J. Janzer
Brian J. Janzer of Hartford passed away Tuesday, July 4, 2006 due to injuries in a motorcycle accident. He was 18 years old.
He was born March 25, 1988 in Hartford to Michael and Joan (nee Elder) Janzer.
Brian just graduated with honors from Hartford Union High School. During his school years, he was active in football and FFA. Brian loved dirtbiking, fourwheeling, fishing, hunting, trapshooting and repairing engines. Brian had worked from the young age of 8 on the survey crew with his uncle Jim Jr. at Elder Engineering.
He also worked summers and winters for Soxx Lawn Maintenance. One of Brianís favorite sayings was "Donít Worry." With Godís help we will try to remember that.
He is survived by his loving parents, Michael and Joan; two brothers, Dominick and Benjamin of Hartford; grandparents, Robert and Anita Janzer of Hartford and James Sr. and Jean Elder of Hubertus; his aunts and uncles, James (Elaine) Janzer, Dennis Janzer (special friend John Vincent), Donald (Mary) Janzer, Patrick (Mary Elder) Janzer, Eileen "Tudy" (Robert) Reis, Kathleen "Peach" (Rick) Eves, Janean (Ivan) Gehl, Nancy (Larry) Newman, Betsy (Fred) Wittenberger, David (Polly) Elder, Jennifer (Allen) Fenney and James Jr. (Jeni) Elder; his cousins, Lucas and Adam Schrab, Lance and Keli Newman, Shyleen Fenney, Rosalee Raddemann, Alan and Mark Gehl, Madeline and Mark Elder, Jason and Adam Janzer, Wynter Elder, Melissa, Daniel, Alec and Jacob Janzer, Sarah and Joseph Eves and Andrew Reis. Brian is further survived by other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by a cousin Lindsay Gehl.
Mass of Christian Burial for Brian was Friday, July 7, 2006 at St. Kilian Catholic Church, Hartford, with Fr. David La Plante officiating.
Family greeted relatives and friends prior to the service at the church.
Memorials to Hartford B.E.S.T. to establish a scholarship for students in Brianís name appreciated.
Shimon Funeral Home in Hartford assisted the family.
