William H. Mack
William H. Mack of Hartford, Wisconsin passed away Thursday, July 6, 2006 surrounded by his loving family, at the age of 85.
William was born May 20, 1921 to William and Martha Mack in Cleveland, Ohio. He honorably served his country in the U. S. Army from 1942 to 1946.
After returning home from the service, he married Jeanette Tennies on April 10, 1948.
For the majority of his life, he was dedicated to the masonry industry in bricklaying and stonework. William and Jeanette lived in the Richfield area until 1995, when he moved to Arizona. He then returned to Wisconsin in 2005, residing in Hartford.
William will be missed by his beloved wife, Jeanette (nee Tennies) Mack; his cherished sons, James Mack (special friend, Toni) of Kingmen, Ariz., Charles (Margie) Mack of West Bend and Howard (Sandy) Mack of West Bend; four cherished daughters, Mary (Roger) Hopfensperger of Oak Creek, Kathy (Joe) Ward of Kentucky, Jeaneen (Dean) Oswald of Hartford and Christine (Dave) Quandt of Lomira; 31 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and one brother, Jerry (Jean) Mack. He is further survived by sisters-in-law, Judy Mack, Rita (Leroy) Kannenberg and Doris Tennies; brother-in-law, George Bruett; nieces, nephews, other special relatives and many dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter and son-in-law, Barbara (Ken) Hopfensperger; his brother, John; sister, Martha Bruett; one granddaughter, Deana Hopfensperger; and brother-in-law, Henry Tennies.
A memorial service honoring William was Sunday, July 9, 2006 in the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel in West Bend, with Dennis Gleiss offering words of remembrance.
Cremation took place at Paradise Cremation Services of West Bend. Visitation was prior to the service at the funeral home.
Phillip Funeral Home of West Bend assisted the family.
